Responsibilities:

(A) Procurement:

Source and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.

Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

(B) Vendor Management:

Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

Conduct regular assessments of vendor performance.

(C) Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

Prepare and submit purchase orders and requisitions.

Generate reports on purchasing activities as needed.

(D) Communication:

Fluent in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.

Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.

(E) Compliance:

Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

(F) Cost Management:

Work to optimize costs while maintaining high-quality standards.

Identify opportunities for cost savings.

Requirements:

Fluent in Mandarin is essential as need to deal with Mandarin Speaking supplier form overseas.

Previous experience in purchasing or a related field is an added advantage.

At least SPM/STPM/Sijil or Certificate in Business, Procurement, or equivalent.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Must possess own transport and be willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
