Purchaser / Senior Purchaser

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide materials support for on-going production.
2. Liaise with Production Planner on materials requisitions and the issuance of purchase order (PO).
3. Review long lead time items for confirmed customer's orders and releasing orders accordingly.
4. Release purchase orders for planner materials by ERP shortage report.
5. Follow up on PO confirmation, backlog and open PO.
6. Responsible to prepare monthly materials status report and feedback exceptions to Manager.
7. Perform physical goods receiving and system receiving generate incoming inspection reports for sub-out order
8. Attend to the any other duties as assigned to you by superior.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum diploma or equivalent.
2. Preferably at least 2 - 5 years relevant working experience in metal or plastic injection environment.
3. Conversant in English/ Malay, Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Words. Positive, proactive, high integrity, good interpersonal skills.
