Summary

The position is the Purchasing / Procurement Hub service to Celestica's Capital Equipment (CE) market
segment globally - covering all sites supporting CE. The position has direct purchasing responsibility for
CE supporting diverse customers. This role requires extensive domain knowledge of purchasing, SCM,
and understanding of its associated supply base.
Within the Global Supply Chain Organization, this role is responsible to deliver a differentiated
client/customer experience, enable profitable growth, drive transformational change along with people ,
personal development within Celestica's Global Supply Chain Team and new / enhancement system
deployment and automation. The position maintains involvement in day-to-day issues related to buying
activities, internal parts flow, security and controls, inventory management, execution and improvement
recommendations for purchasing contracts and non-production activities, applications and process. It
plays leadership role for the broader Global SCM team, including planning, inventory control and
customer focus team. The position has involvement with GCBU and SCM teams, and supports SCM
Prime initiatives, interfaces with external auditors, and drives actions/ improvement across the
organization. The job has regular communication both internally with Director and VP levels as well as
with customers related to material supply, commitments, and future procurement process changes
/improvements.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

DIFFERENTIATED CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
. Responsible for creating long term procurement plans to stay ahead of market trends & customerexpectations
. Responsible to collaborate with internal clients and customers to confidently demonstrate Celestica'ssupply chain leadership and purchasing strategy
. Responsible for monitoring on-going analytics to spot trends and opportunities to proactively addresscustomer & client supply chain & business needs

PROFITABLE GROWTH
. Responsible to support the successful launch of all new business within Celestica
. Works broadly with D2D, Functional SCM & Ops along with GCBU leadership on strategies andmethods to support existing & potential new business

TRANSFORMATIONAL CHANGE
. Drives the team to support out-of-the box materials strategies to meet customer needs while managingCelestica's on-going strategy for profitable growth
. Drives long-term continuous improvement plans to enable faster time to outcome including customerbook & bill
. Initiate ideas and support system enhancement and automation as part of continuous improvement andteam productivity drive and accelerate level of Purchasing services to client and client needs
. Drives cross-functional GBS & functional teams to yield the best results for customers & shareholders

PEOPLE & PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
. Responsible for mentoring & developing team on emerging strategies & techniques for materialprocurement
. Responsible to provide market segment guidance across a broad diverse team to deliver creative longterm plans enabling Celestica's profitable growth

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

. Excellent knowledge of the supply chain and manufacturing process supporting all Celestica marketsegments
. Excellent knowledge of Celestica's customer's business, organizations, products and process to enableCelestica to support the supply chain needs of its customers
. Extensive commercial and business expertise to enable successful compliance to customer & suppliercontracts
. Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate with clients, customer and external suppliersto deliver world class solutions
. Ability to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse global team of managers andemployees.
. Strong cross-Functional project and team leadership skills
. Understanding of import/export, regulatory and labor requirements across Asia to enable purchasingteam to work seamlessly
. Able to maintain external contacts with consultants, associations and other companies for benchmarkingand networking.
. Experience with various purchasing models, such as Lean and MRP based procurement systems
. Strong financial acumen
. Previous Sourcing and/or commodity management experience would be an asset

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Typical Experience

. 15+ years supply chain experience with a proven track record of interacting with diverse manufacturing,SCM and customer focused teams
. Procurement leadership in ODM or EMS environment, with strong supplier relationships in theelectronics industry

Typical Education

• Bachelor's degree in related field or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
