Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchasing and supplier performance.
  • Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and performance metrics to management.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to purchasing and procurement.
