Purchasing Executive

5-day work week 8am-5pm, OT provided

Key Responsibilities

* Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices.

* Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

* Coordinate material deliveries to project sites and ensure timely supply.

* Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly.

* Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.

* Work closely with project managers, site teams, logistics, and finance to ensure project execution.

* Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery standards.

* Evaluate supplier performance and develop alternative sourcing strategies.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

* 2–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in the construction, building materials, or landscape industry.

* Strong negotiation and communication skills.

* Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Highly organized, responsible, and able to manage multiple priorities.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.

* Fluent in English and Malay.

* Possess a valid driving licence and own transport (preferred).
