Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for narrowbody aircraft (e.g., Airbus A320, Boeing 737) spare parts / rotables across the APAC region.
- Lead and develop a team of 3 purchasing specialists, ensuring sourcing productivity, training, and skill growth.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely deliveries.
- Implement and refine purchasing processes, ensuring cost control, inventory management, and compliance with company policies.
- Building preferred supplier listing PSL with primary, secondary and tertiary options.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimally 5 years in purchasing within the aviation industry, specifically for narrowbody aircraft parts.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a small team in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of the APAC aviation sector and an established network of suppliers in the commercial aviation aftermarket.
- Fluent in English with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Multilingual will be highly sought after.
