Job Description

Overall job objectives

To lead procurement operations in the alcohol and FMCG sectors, ensuring strategic sourcing, cost-effective purchasing, efficient inventory control, and compliance to support the company's production and distribution needs.

Core responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Develop and execute sourcing plans aligned with business needs.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve cost savings while maintaining compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Inventory Management & Control

  • Implement forecasting, demand planning, and safety stock strategies to optimize inventory.
  • Manage inventory systems (ERP/WMS), track stock levels, and analyze inventory performance.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and address discrepancies.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Ensure procurement compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations.

Cost Management & Budget Control

  • Analyze procurement spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage and monitor purchasing budgets effectively.

Process Improvement & Sustainability

  • Continuously improve procurement and inventory processes for efficiency.
  • Promote sustainable and ethical sourcing practices where possible.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with supply chain and other teams to align procurement with operational requirements.
  • Provide procurement and inventory reports to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 58 years of purchasing/procurement experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and manage a team
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, cost control, and supplier management
  • Experience dealing with local and overseas suppliers
  • Familiar with ERP systems and proficient in Excel
  • Able to analyze demand, pricing, and inventory trends
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure
  • Good command of English; Mandarin/BM is an advantage
  • Experience in FMCG / wholesale / beverage industry is a plus
