Python Developer

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ years software development or data engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Python, including environment and dependency management and web application frameworks.
• Professional experience developing, deploying, and maintaining webapps, and with relational databases, including schema design and migrations.
• Conduct in depth code reviews, including source code, tests, and documentation.
• Practical exposure to developing agentic systems, such as RAG pipelines, chatbots, or LLM orchestrators.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 5+ years with Python web frameworks, especially FastAPI+SQLAlchemy or Django.
• PostgreSQL and its ecosystem of extensions, especially pgvector or TimescaleDB.
• Cloud native application development, especially using Azure.
• Previous professional experience working with financial documents.
• Responsible use of AI assistants to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation tasks.
