Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to design, build, and maintain robust software applications. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Python and object-oriented programming, enjoys solving complex problems, and works well within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in a timely manner
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the development process where relevant
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python
- Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with common Python frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask, FastAPI)
- Exposure to REST API design and integration
- Experience with version control tools (e.g. Git)
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
