Python Full Stack Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

CUSTOMER shall appoint a Manager to oversee the Services. The appointed Manager shall:

• Assign and prioritize tasks, initiatives, enhancements and support activities.
• Communicate the requirements, objectives, deliverables, timelines, priorities and quality expectations.
• Provide day-to-day direction on service requirements, priorities and expected deliverables.
• Facilitate access to the required information, systems, tools, environments and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, review deliverables and provide timely feedback.
• Coordinate applicable business, architecture, cybersecurity, data-governance, testing and deployment approvals.
• Review and approve deliverables, service records, change requests and additional work, where applicable.
• Support the resolution of risks, issues and dependencies under CUSTOMER's control.

The Service Provider shall:

• Deliver the Services through suitably qualified and experienced personnel.
• Ensure the availability, competency, continuity, conduct and performance of its assigned personnel.
• Ensure that the Services are performed in accordance with CUSTOMER's requirements, priorities, timelines and applicable policies and standards.
• Manage all employment, administrative, statutory and contractual obligations relating to its assigned personnel.
• Promptly inform CUSTOMER of any matter that may affect service delivery.
• Monitor service performance and address any performance or conduct concerns raised by CUSTOMER.
• Provide a suitably qualified replacement, subject to CUSTOMER's reasonable approval, where assigned personnel become unavailable or do not meet the agreed service expectations.
• Ensure that all deliverables, source components, configurations, technical records and documentation are properly maintained and handed over to CUSTOMER.
• Correct deficiencies attributable to the Service Provider within the agreed scope and timeframe.
• Maintain adequate transition and knowledge-transfer arrangements to ensure continuity of the Services. 

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least seven (7) years of relevant software development experience, including substantial practical experience in full-stack web application development.
• Strong practical experience in Python-based backend development using one or more established Python frameworks, such as FastAPI, Django or Flask.
• Strong experience in modern frontend web development using technologies and frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Strong experience in REST API development, API integration, authentication, authorization and integration with enterprise and third-party systems.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or equivalent database technologies, including database design, SQL development and performance optimization.
• Experience with software architecture, application design, coding standards, source-code management, code review, automated testing, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Experience with application security, including secure coding practices, access control, authentication and authorization, vulnerability remediation and relevant OWASP principles.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, including Git-based source control, automated build and deployment pipelines, environment management and application release processes.

The Service Provider shall ensure that the Services are performed in compliance with CUSTOMER's applicable architecture, cybersecurity, data-governance, development, documentation, source-control and deployment standards.
