QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, performance issues, and usability flaws.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
• Report and track bugs in a detailed and structured manner using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies to ensure test coverage is aligned with development efforts.
• Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing for each release cycle.
• Maintain and improve automated test suites using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Postman, or similar.
• Ensure software quality in terms of functionality, reliability, usability, and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manual and/or automation testing.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries for database testing.
