Job responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of optical components, lenses, and metal barrels to ensure they meet precise quality standards before assembly.
- Utilize specialized testing equipment to verify optical characteristics, dimensional accuracy, and coating quality.
- Oversee the assembly process, ensuring proper alignment, and maintain detailed documentation of procedures and standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to cleanroom standards during assembly to prevent contamination of optical surfaces.
- Manage the calibration and maintenance of metrology equipment and work closely with suppliers to maintain quality standards.
