Overview: Manage quality assurance and control system and ensure full compliance with quality requirements. Provide direction/leadership/expertise on quality issues, including interpretation of company and project guidelines requirements, and knowledge of best practices. Conduct capitalizations and LLs and form the strategy to provide pragmatic solutions on quality related matters.
Setting up Company quality policy, project quality plan and procedures in accordance with Company and contractual quality requirements
- Setting up QA/QC requirements which are compliant to ISO9001
Preparation of quality risk matrix and criticality ratings of project systems, equipment and materials- Conduct site quality induction training within the Owner/PMC/EPC contractors and sub-contractors construction teams as necessary
Ensuring compliance by contractors/subcontractors/vendors against QA/QC requirements of the project
- Quality auditing of engineering, procurement and construction by vendors, contractors and sub-contractors
Monitoring of third-party certification of lifting devices, relief valves, vessels, exchangers, and high-pressure piping, etc.- Managing civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation QA/QC related matters & personnel
Managing preparation of data books for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning work.
Bachelors Science or equivalent degree in engineering from an accredited university with minimum 15 years relevant experience in oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical projects, particularly in the Southeast Asia with minimum 5 years experience as QA/QC Manager in the oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical projects/industries.
- Shall have at least one good project track record with quality assurance and control.
Experience of managing QA/QC activities on a large project in oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical projects.- _QA/QC planning on at least two major oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical projects._
Proficient in both verbal and written in English, Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese.
