About the Role
As a QA Software Engineer, you will be the final gatekeeper between our innovative AWS & AI-powered solutions and the clients who depend on them. Your mission is to safeguard product excellence through comprehensive testing, clear defect tracking, and collaboration across teams. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and requires both structured testing discipline and creative problem-solving. We welcome fresh graduates with a strong passion for quality assurance and a keen eye for detail. Comprehensive training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Test Design & Execution
- Develop, execute, and maintain end-to-end test scripts for functional, integration, and system testing.
- Perform SIT, UAT, regression testing before every release to ensure stability.
- Conduct load, performance, and stress testing to validate scalability.
- Translate client/user requirements into detailed and actionable test cases.
- Prepare test documentation (plans, cases, data) with traceability to requirements.
Defect Management & Quality Tracking
- Log, track, and prioritize defects with clear details and severity levels.
- Work with developers to resolve issues and re-test fixes.
- Keep all defect and testing records updated for on-time delivery.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and cloud engineers to maintain high-quality standards.
- Suggest process improvements to make testing more efficient.
- Stay updated on emerging testing tools, methodologies, and QA best practices.
Qualifications
For Fresh Graduates:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts (manual or automated).
- Strong attention to detail, logical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies.
For Experienced Candidates:
- Prior hands-on experience in end-to-end testing, regression testing, or performance testing.
- Experience in translating requirements into test cases and tracking defects.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools for test management.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Python, Java, or other programming languages for test automation.
- Experience with RESTful API testing.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Exposure to AI/ML testing frameworks.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
