We are seeking a skilled QA Test Engineer (Telco) to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our telecommunications applications through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans and test cases for telecom applications.
- Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Perform regression, performance, and load testing as necessary.
- Document testing processes and results to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Testing, preferably in the telecommunications domain.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for test automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
