Working Location: Malaysia (based in Petaling Jaya)
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC within the F&B industry preferred.
- Hold a Food Handler Trainer certification (mandatory) and are comfortable speaking in front of a group.
- Compulsory Halal Certification with a deep understanding of Malaysian Halal standards.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards (GMP, SOP, hygiene practices)
- Organised, detail-oriented, independent, and comfortable with frequent travel across Malaysia.
- A hustler who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Role:
Product Integrity & Testing
- Incoming Quality Control: Take charge of testing incoming products and managing sample approvals.
- Standards Enforcement: Conduct rigorous sensory and physical tests to ensure all raw materials meet our brand specifications.
The Store Excellence Audit (The Heart of the Role)
- Internal Auditing: You'll be responsible for auditing approximately 30% of our total store network per cycle.
- Comprehensive Compliance: Audit for GMP, cleanliness, maintenance, pest control SOPs, and strict Halal compliance.
- On-the-Go Impact: Expect to travel at least once a month to visit our regional outlets.
- Rapid Reporting: Issue audit reports on the same day as the visit. You will brief store teams on corrective actions and follow up within a week to ensure issues are resolved.
Training & Empowerment
- Act as a mentor to our baristas and store managers by conducting Food Handling and Halal Training sessions to elevate operational standards.
