QAQC & R&D MANAGER — DAIRY MANUFACTURING

Location: Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan

Salary: RM9,000–RM12,000 per month

MYFutureJobs Negeri Sembilan is sourcing an experienced QAQC & R&D Manager for a dairy manufacturing company based in Bandar Sri Sendayan.

The successful candidate will lead the plant's Quality and Research & Development departments, overseeing food safety, quality systems, laboratory operations and product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the QA/QC and R&D teams, ensuring effective quality and food safety controls from raw-material intake to finished-product packaging.
• Oversee quality and safety for dairy/milk production involving UHT, pasteurisation and retort processes.
• Manage laboratory testing, verify test methods and resolve technical issues.
• Lead formulation development, raw-material trials and improvements in flavour, texture, nutritional value, shelf life and packaging.
• Manage internal and external audits, certification requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop quality procedures, train employees and support production teams in troubleshooting quality issues.
• Analyse quality performance and prepare monthly reports for management.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and regulatory authorities on quality and food safety matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in dairy/milk food manufacturing.
• Experience managing QA/QC operations, food safety systems and R&D activities.
• Knowledge and experience managing ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, HALAL, GMP and MeSTI requirements.
• Familiarity with local food regulations and overseas market requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and team management skills.
