Job Description
The position reports to the Head of Consumer Business / Head of Retail Technology.
Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Lead to join our Consumer Business (Retail) Technology team at TIME. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our test automation strategy across customer-facing digital platforms, retail systems, and backend applications. You will build scalable automation frameworks, drive quality engineering best practices, and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Your work life
- Design and implement the overall automation testing strategy.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile and APIs.
- Develop automated functional, regression, integration and end-to-end tests.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor QA Automation Engineers.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps and Business teams.
- Drive shift-left testing.
- Support API and performance testing.
- Monitor automation coverage and quality metrics.
- Continuously improve automation tools and frameworks.
To be considered, you'll need:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 6–8 years in Software QA with at least 3 years specializing in automation.
- Experience leading QA automation initiatives.
- Experience in Agile Retail, Consumer Business, Telecommunications or Digital Products.
Technical Skills
- Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium.
- Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or C#.
- API automation using Postman, REST Assured or Karate.
- CI/CD using GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Git, SQL and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Docker and performance testing knowledge is an advantage.
