Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

Responsible for quality assurance of Tencent Cloud products.

End-to-end test ownership: requirement analysis, test case design, execution, defect tracking, software quality analysis.

Improve test execution efficiency and defect identification using automation testing, chaos testing, DevOps, AI-based workflows, etc.

Collaborate with other roles and enterprise clients to understand business requirements and deliver best-in-class cloud solutions.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related, with 3+ years of QA/system testing experience.

Familiarity with software testing processes and standards.

Experience in automation testing, performance testing, and test methodologies, with strong test analysis & design skills.

Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Tencent Cloud).

Proficiency in at least one programming language (C/C++, Python, Java, Perl).

Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment.

Fluent English (spoken, written, reading).

Preferred Qualifications

Proficient in at least 2 areas: Compute / Storage / Networking / CDN / Big Data / Databases / DevOps in cloud computing.

Professional experience with Tencent Cloud or similar (e.g., Databricks, Hadoop, MySQL, Oracle).

Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills to coordinate cross-functional issue resolution.

Experience leveraging AI large language models (LLMs) to enhance work efficiency.

Fluent Mandarin (spoken, written, reading).
