Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Quality Engineer to join the data and identity delivery platform group. You to be responsible for designing, implementing and executing test plans to improve the efficiency, functionality and usability of our components and products. The QA Engineer will work with all stakeholders (product management, UX, architects, engineers) to ensure the highest quality artifacts are delivered. You will be an integral part of the development team; helping debug code, correct errors and troubleshoot issues. Candidates should be organized, diligent, have a strong knowledge of software code and testing methodologies and be a team player. Key Responsibilities

• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures
• Document test plans and capabilities tested
• Execute test plans
• Track & report on critical test metrics
• Verify reported issues
• Coordinate with development team to resolve reported issues
• Step in to perform minor bug fixes where necessary
• Participate in project design to bring quality perspective to design process
• Progress manual testing into repeatable automated testing

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Automated Test development
• A foundational understanding of software languages ex: JavaScript, Python, Typescript
• Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies
• Experience with one or more test frameworks - ex: Cypress
• Experience with API testing methods and tools ex: Postman
• Experience with Data and DB testing method and tools ex: SQL
• Good organizational skills and an eye for detail
• Ability to work with a team to achieve communal goals
