Ansell is looking for Quality Assurance Intern to be based in Melaka.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Laboratory Intern to join our QA team. As an intern, you will support the daily operations of the QA laboratory, assist with testing and validation of products, and help ensure compliance with industry standards. This internship offers hands-on experience in quality control, testing procedures, and laboratory operations in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Support the preparation of test samples, reagents, and solutions for analysis.
- Assist in maintaining lab equipment and ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Document test results, observations, and findings according to established procedures and standards.
- Review and analyze test data to identify potential discrepancies or issues in product quality.
- Assist in the preparation of QA reports and assist in the documentation of any non-conformities or deviations from standards.
- Participate in internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, GLP, ISO).
- Assist with the management and organization of laboratory inventory and supplies.
- Contribute to improving testing processes and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment by following safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals and materials.
What you will bring
- Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Sciences, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and quality assurance processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring accuracy and precision in testing and documentation.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with lab software (preferred but not required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting findings.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
