Quality Assurance Internship

Lynas Malaysia Sdn Bhd is an ethical and environmentally responsible producer of rare earth materials and is the world's only significant producer of separated rare earth materials outside of China.

Position Summary

Quality Assurance Internship (paid, small stipend), to support Quality Engineer and Quality Manager with various activities, at mid-sized Production Facility, for 3 to 6 month term, ASAP

Responsibilities

• Procedure and work instruction maintenance and development for various processes within our organization (e.g., IT, research, sales, production)
• Assisting with Quality and Supplier Audits, Customer Surveys, and Complaint Investigation, with both documentation and reporting
• Maintain and update company documented information to ensure compliance with standard procedures.
• Additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

Currently perusing bachelor's degree in Technical or Business-related field (3rd or 4th year student preferred)

A fast-learning attitude with minimal supervision is required

Strong Interest in Quality Management Systems, such as ISO 9001: 2015

Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint); Interest in Learning Power BI

Proficiency in English, both written and oral (preferred)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
