About the Role

The Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Officer is responsible for ensuring that all products, materials, and project deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with company procedures, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.

This role plays a key part in maintaining consistent quality performance through inspections, testing, documentation control, and continuous improvement initiatives across project activities.

The QA/QC Officer will work closely with project teams, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that all quality-related processes are properly implemented and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain document control procedures and systems.
  • Manage the creation, review, approval, distribution, and archiving of documents.
  • Ensure proper document numbering, version control, and traceability.
  • Maintain master lists of documents and records.
  • Ensure documents comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and ISO standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
  • Coordinate with project teams, engineers, consultants, and clients regarding document submission and updates.
  • Maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Archive completed project documents systematically

Qualifications

  • Possess a Diploma in any field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Cheras, adhering to the company's operational schedule.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Words & Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills with good working attitude.
