The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our Engineering and Product teams to ensure the seamless functionality, dependability, and user-friendliness of our digital healthcare products. Your responsibilities would relate to all topics related to testing and documentation, ensuring the product meets the industry compliance and standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Creating detailed test plans and meticulously designing test cases that resonate with the product goal as well as the healthcare industry context.
- Person in charge of taking care of all tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) and becoming the go-to person for other Engineers regarding all testing topics.
- Conducting rigorous testing, spanning functional, performance, security, and regression assessments.
- Identifying, documenting, and effectively communicating software defects, issues, and anomalies.
- Engaging collaboratively with software developers to facilitate the swift resolution of reported issues.
- Contributing actively to the ongoing refinement of testing methodologies and processes.
- Participating enthusiastically in the writing, validation, and defining acceptance criteria and execution of automated test scripts.
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams, to understand the requirements of upcoming features, and participate in external meetings where necessary.
- Work as part of the development team and be involved in the technical decisions to ensure that quality is built in early on and considered in every step of the delivery process.
- Mentor other Engineers in the testing process, share QA knowledge and build awareness and common understanding of quality across the venture to foster shared quality ownership.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record in Quality Assurance testing, preferably testing mobile, and web applications within SaaS environments.
- Experience in managing or enabling the quality process for the products, and skilled in writing good feature specifications.
- Familiarity with popular testing methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Proficiency in utilizing industry-standard QA tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Testrail, or equivalents.
- Adept problem-solving skills coupled with unwavering attention to detail.
- Exposure to automated testing tools and frameworks is a noteworthy advantage.
- Knowledge of the healthcare compliance landscape and industry regulation standards is highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
