Quality Control Assistant

The primary role of Manufacturing Quality function is to design, implement and monitoring quality control programs. Key deliverables include, but not limited to, recommending changes to methods, procedures and standards to improve quality of output based on analysis of data and systems. Ensures products are built correctly to specification, quality standards and appropriate regulatory compliance. Reports defects and tracks until resolution.

QC Assistant - Production performs inspection and releasing of finished goods ensuring they meet the requirement of ResMed (QMS) and its customers.

In addition, the QC Assistant - Production will conduct online checks of parts, products, environment during production ensuring critical requirements and GMP are met.

Let's talk about Responsibilities

• Ensure production follows approved and written procedures, work instructions and specifications are complied with.

• Review and approve DHR and other relevant documents meeting documentations GDP and GMP requirements.

• Conduct online checks of parts, products, and environment as required and complete appropriate documentation as evidence of completed task.

• Ensure that non-conforming components are processed as per Work Instructions, quarantined, labelled, documented, and not released until investigation and method of disposition has been approved.

• Ensure that quality standards required by GDP, GMP and 5S are followed.

• Work safely to prevent manual handling injuries take active involvement in the prevention of OH&S hazards.

• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.

• Adapt to changing work circumstances.

• Behave ethically and demonstrate integrity.

• Be a responsible participant in 5S and maintain general housekeeping.

• Participate in Continuous Improvement/problem solving activities.

• Trains others as required.

• Adhere to Human Resources policies and procedures.

• External customer focus.

• Collaborate with members of ResMed to perform other tasks as directed or requested.

• Ensures that traceability of conforming and non-conforming components is efficiently implemented with the correct labelling system.

• Release finished product in a timely manner meeting business KPI's of Quality, Delivery and Cost.

Inspection Tools

• Ensures that approved and calibrated measuring devices are maintained and available for use.

• Ensures that representative samples are stored properly, maintained, and available in the correct revision.

• Ensures that all procedures, work instructions and specifications are available in the correct revision.

Reporting

• Ensures that inspection reports are accurate and reliable.

Required:

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent or at least 5 years experience in a similar field.
