Job Description

1. Core Position Orientation

Fully responsible for the quality control work of the Johor Bahru Food Factory, establish and improve the quality control system, covering the whole process of raw material acceptance, production process control, finished product inspection and compliance control, ensure that products meet the quality standards of domestic and export (overseas) sales, avoid quality risks, and support the factory to be put into production smoothly in August-September and subsequent stable operation.

2. Core Job Responsibilities

  1. Quality Control System Construction: Establish and improve the factory's quality control management system, inspection standards (raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products) and processes, formulate quality control work plans, ensure that quality control work is standardized and normalized, and adapt to the quality requirements of pre-cooked food, clean vegetables, sauces and other products.
  2. Whole-process Quality Control: Responsible for raw material acceptance (docking with the Procurement Manager to inspect the quality of vegetables, meat, condiments, packaging auxiliary materials, etc.), production process quality control (supervising the production links such as pre-cooked food, clean vegetables and vegetable sorting, and standardizing operating procedures), and finished product inspection. Prevent unqualified raw materials from entering the warehouse and unqualified products from leaving the factory.
  3. Compliance and Risk Control: Familiar with the relevant laws, regulations and industry standards of food production and quality control in Malaysia to ensure the compliance of the factory's quality control work. Responsible for handling quality abnormalities, tracking rectification, establishing quality abnormal accounts, and avoiding quality complaints and irregular penalties. Cooperate with the factory's license application and compliance inspection related work.
  4. Quality Control Team Management: Build a quality control team according to the factory scale, responsible for the daily management, training and assessment of the team, and improve the professional ability of quality control personnel. Supervise the performance of quality control personnel to ensure the implementation of quality control processes.
  5. Coordination and Improvement: Docking with the Production Supervisor, Procurement Manager and Factory Manager, synchronize quality control requirements, coordinate to solve quality problems in the production process. Conduct regular quality reviews, analyze quality hazards, put forward improvement measures, continuously improve product quality, and adapt to the needs of domestic and export (overseas) markets.

3. Job Requirements

  1. Experience in food industry quality control in Singapore or Malaysia is preferred.
  2. Professional Background: More than 3 years of quality control management experience in the food industry; those with quality control experience in pre-cooked food, clean vegetables and sauces are preferred. Familiar with the key points of quality control in the whole process of food production, master food inspection standards and methods; those with relevant professional qualifications (such as food inspector certificate) will be given extra points.
  3. Work Experience: Have experience in quality control team management, able to independently build a quality control system and formulate inspection standards. Have quality control experience in food factories in Singapore and Malaysia, familiar with local food compliance requirements and quality standards, and understand the quality requirements of overseas markets (export) are preferred.
  4. Core Competencies: Strong sense of responsibility and rigorous and meticulous work attitude, able to strictly control the quality. Good problem analysis and solving abilities, able to properly handle quality abnormalities and compliance related issues. Strong communication and coordination skills, able to smoothly dock with various departments and promote the implementation of quality control work. Able to accept long-term work in Johor Bahru.
  5. Other Requirements: Those familiar with the relevant requirements of Halal food quality control will be given extra points. Strong pressure resistance, able to adapt to the high-intensity quality control work in the initial stage of factory commissioning, and ensure quality compliance and stability.
