Job Summary
Responsible for Internal, Customer, and 3rd Party Quality System Audits.
Provides the following deliverables (ISO/QMS)
- Ensures that all Internal Auditors are competent
- Performs Internal Audits
- Writes the Audit Reports and Leads the Closing Meetings
- Updates the Audit Tracker with Audit findings and drives closures
- Drives Site business process consistency
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Plans and aligns Audit schedules with the Site Heads and staff for all aspects of Site Audits (Customer, 3rd party, internal), and ensures that audits are performed per the schedule
- Performs the Internal Audits at the respective sites
- Uploads the Audit findings on the UConnect Audit Tracker.
- Represents the Site Quality Systems to customers and external parties in face-to-face meetings or through written and verbal correspondences.
- Performs charting and trend analysis per the AUD-1000 KPI's to provide the Site Quality Heads accurate data for corrective and preventive actions.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Broad knowledge of Quality Systems and Business structures.
- In-depth understanding of Quality methodologies (e.g. FMEA, SPC, 8D problem solving)
- ISO (Lead Auditor) certifications acquired from (ISO9001, IATF-16949)
- Proven ability to effectively assess and implement continuous improvement techniques to quality and manufacturing functions
- Excellent problem solving ability, e.g. root cause determination, timely closure of 8D reports
- Experience in maintaining and improving ISO9001 System
- Proficient in use of MS Office and Knowledge of database software.
Educational/Certification Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Quality Engineering or related discipline
- Certified ISO 9001 lead auditor
Experience Requirement
- Work Experience: 5 years experience in manufacturing environment as a Quality Systems Auditor (Automotive, Aerospace or Semiconductor Manufacturing environment preferred)

Overnight Travel
- Work requires out of town travel depending upon assignment (audits, training and meetings).
