About the Role:
Are you a proactive problem-solver passionate about driving excellence and continuous improvement We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to be a key player in upholding and elevating our product quality standards. In this role, you will have a direct impact across our entire supply chain and manufacturing processes, ensuring we deliver superior products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Quality Management: Take the lead in managing and developing our suppliers. You will conduct on-site audits, provide ongoing coaching, and drive continuous improvement to enhance the quality of incoming materials.
- Process Quality Control: Serve as the quality authority on the production floor. You will own quality issues, leading cross-functional teams through root cause analysis, investigation, and the implementation of effective corrective actions.
- Quality System Development: Develop and maintain key quality documentation, including Standard Inspection Procedures (SIP) for incoming, in-process, final, and outbound product checks.
- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and train our quality control inspectors (IQC, IPQC, FQC), empowering them to be the first line of defense in quality assurance.
- New Product & Change Introduction: Act as the primary quality liaison with our headquarters to ensure the seamless introduction of new products and engineering changes.
- Quality Data & Analytics: Leverage quality tools to analyze data, identify trends, and present findings in quality review meetings to drive data-informed decisions.
- Compliance & Audits: Support our quality management system by being the point of contact for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications):
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering or related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proven hands-on experience with quality core tools (e.g., SPC, Root Cause Analysis, 7 QC Tools).
- Quality Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 9001 is required. Knowledge of ISO 13485 is a significant advantage, and an ISO Internal Auditor certificate is highly preferred.
