Quality Environment Health Safety Manager

About the Company & Role

A global provider of high-performance flow control systems and precision metal components for the semiconductor industry is establishing a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Penang.

We are looking for a hands-on QHSE Manager to build and lead the site's QHSE framework from start-up to full operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Establish the HSE framework in compliance with Malaysian regulations.
• Support plant start-up, industrialization and production ramp-up.
• Integrate quality and safety requirements into equipment, processes and facility implementation.
• Lead preparation for customer, regulatory and certification audits.
• Drive a strong culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Environmental, Safety or related field.
• 8+ years Quality and/or HSE experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in both Quality and HSE strongly preferred.
• Greenfield / new plant start-up experience highly desirable.
• Semiconductor, high-tech or precision manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO management systems
• Experience in both Quality and HSE strongly preferred.
• Greenfield / new plant start-up experience highly desirable.
• Semiconductor, high-tech or precision manufacturing experience preferred.
• Certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 knowledge/certification, A DOSH-registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) are strongly preferred.
• A valid Green Book holder.
