Role Description
The Quality Health Safety Environment Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Kulim. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across client operations, including conducting inspections, audits, and risk assessments. The executive will prepare and review documentation such as procedures, reports, and corrective action plans, and ensure compliance with relevant OSH regulations and company policies. Day-to-day tasks include supporting incident investigations, coordinating training and awareness programs, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and recommending improvements to enhance workplace safety and environmental performance. The role also involves regular data collection, analysis of HSE metrics, and reporting to management on key findings and trends.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Management and Quality Control skills to develop, implement, and maintain effective QHSE systems and procedures.
- Candidates should possess Quality Auditing skills, including experience in conducting internal audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, assess risks, and propose evidence-based improvements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to report findings clearly, deliver training, and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field are preferred.
- Knowledge of Malaysian OSH regulations, standards, and best practices, especially in industrial settings, is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently on-site, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Professional certifications in safety, health, or quality (e.g., OSH, ISO-related certifications) will be considered an added benefit.
