Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and continuously improve the laboratory's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Lead internal audits, manage non-conformances, and oversee corrective/preventive actions.
- Coordinate management reviews and follow up on action plans.
- Oversee document control, quality records, and the control of test/calibration data.
- Act as the liaison with accreditation bodies during assessments and audits.
- Support training, competency assessment, and continual improvement initiatives
- Handle customers & global internal audit.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific discipline Chemistry, microbiology or any science related study
- Minimum 35 years experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 2 years managing a quality system under ISO/IEC 17025.
- Proven knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.
- Experience conducting internal audits and managing external audits.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in QMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in internal auditing or quality management (e.g., ISO 17025 Internal Auditor, ASQ CQA) is a plus.
