A leading packaging company is looking for a Quality Manager to join their team.
Your new company
My client is a long-established global organisation specialising in packaging solutions for both consumer and industrial markets, with a strong focus on product quality, manufacturing excellence, innovation and the development of more sustainable packaging solutions. They are now looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join their team located at Negeri Sembilan to lead the overall plant quality operations.
Your new role
- Lead the overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control function to maintain consistent product and manufacturing standards.
- Drive compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO, FSSC and applicable food safety requirements across plant operations.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, audits, CAPA, customer complaint investigations and improvements to quality systems and procedures.
- Manage and develop the Quality team while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen operational and quality performance.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Engineering, Science, Materials or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of quality and/or process engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and exposure to quality and food safety systems, including ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000.
- Experience within consumer packaging or FMCG manufacturing would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare SOPs and technical reports and engage effectively across different levels of the organisation.
- Able to communicate in English & Mandarin to liaise with stakeholders in China.
