My client is an established dairy manufacturing organisation, operating a high‑volume production facility and supplying a broad range of products to the local market. As part of ongoing business growth, they are looking to appoint a Quality cum R&D Manager to lead quality, laboratory, and product development activities at their manufacturing site located at Negeri Sembilan.
Your new role
- Lead overall QA, QC, and R&D operations at the manufacturing site.
- Ensure product quality from raw material intake through finished goods.
- Manage laboratory testing and handle quality issues, complaints, and follow-up actions.
- Drive product improvement and development activities, including trials and testing.
- Support audits, maintain quality systems, and train teams on quality and food safety practices.
What you'll need to succeed
- A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
- Extensive hands-on experience in food manufacturing, with strong exposure to the UHT milk/ Dairies manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing quality systems, food safety programmes, and R&D activities within a regulated manufacturing setting.
- Strong working knowledge of food safety and quality standards such as ISO, HACCP, GMP, Halal, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Experience handling audits, regulatory inspections, customer requirements, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to influence teams at all levels.
