Role: Quality Supervisor
Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor
About the Opportunity
The Quality Supervisor plays a key role in safeguarding product integrity and operational excellence by guiding day-to-day quality activities across materials, production processes, and finished goods. This role provides hands-on leadership to the quality team, ensures timely resolution of issues, supports investigations and continuous improvement efforts, and upholds compliance with internal policies and industry standards. By fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration, the Quality Supervisor helps create a reliable, well-managed environment where high standards are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- To maintain the housekeeping practice at work site and ensure safe work procedures are practiced.
- To update on any safety violations / hazards on a timely basis to Superiors.
- Carry out Sampling, Inspections and Testing in accordance with the established quality standards.
- Carry out inspection and testing of incoming materials, online productions and finished products.
- Maintain accurate records of all performed tests / inspections in assigned work sheet.
- To report on all non-conformances detected on a timely basis to the Superiors.
- To maintain and ensure Standard Reference Samples are updated accordingly.
- To assist in product complaint investigation and any deviation of non-conformity.
- To issue quality notification to relevant stakeholders on any quality deviation and non-conformity.
- To lead Quality Technicians, Quality Inspectors and Quality Assistants in assessing and monitoring the quality performance of incoming materials, online productions and finished products.
- To manage the work schedule arrangement for in-charge work station.
- To release all approved material / product and reject all non-conforming material / product.
- To adhere to the requirements of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, GMP, Halal and all others applicable standards.
- To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
- In the event of the incumbent's absence, the incumbent's immediate superior or designated alternate will assume the responsibilities and duties of the role on a temporary basis while in event of subordinate under the incumbent's supervision is absent, the incumbent will assume responsibility
Requirements
- Minimum educational background; SPM or Diploma in Microbiology.
- Experience in Microbiology lab is an added advantage.
- Posses an analytical mind for effective decision-making and problem-solving
- Good communication command and teamwork attitude
- Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and GMP
Key Experiences
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively trough oral & written communications
