Job Summary:**
The Quality Technician at Jabil, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products and processes. This position involves performing a range of quality control activities, including inspection, auditing and documentation, to uphold Jabil's high standards and meet customer specifications.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Perform first article inspection and review visual aids.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Perform MRB on sustained products.
- Perform internal audit and monitor for compliance.
- Assist Quality Engineering in product life cycle management (PLCM)
- Experience in SMT and HLA Process.
- Identify and isolate non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action requests (CARs) as needed.
- Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Able to work in shift
