Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review and evaluate tender documents, cost estimations and bills of quantities (BQ) for M&E projects.
- Liaise with engineers, consultants and the client to gather project specifications and technical requirements.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and ensure cost efficiency.
- Prepare progress claims, final accounts, and project cost reports.
- Assist in procurement planning and cost negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identified cost-savings opportunities without compromising technical requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the project team at construction sites and HQ
- Assist in preparing and compiling project documents, including site reports, method statements, inspection forms and drawings
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and site supervisor for timely material delivery and documentation
- Maintain proper filing of site records, correspondence, purchase orders and project tracking
- Monitor work progress reports, site attendance and daily work logs
- Coordinate internal communication between project sites and HQ departments (procurement, HR, accounts)
- Assist in compiling handover documentation (O&M manuals, as-built drawings and warranties)
- Handle site logistics, document submission schedule and general administrative duties
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related Fields.
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in M&E or the construction industry
- Good understanding of electrical or mechanical systems in construction projects.
- Familiar with standard forms or contracts (e.g., PAM, CIDB, JKR)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD: knowledge of QS software is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Possesses good communication and analytical skills.
- Possesses own transport and is willing to travel to the site if required
- Knowledge of CIDB, TNB, or local authority submission processes is an added advantage·
- Familiar with electrical & mechanical site operations, documentation and project workflows
Work Environment:
