The principal of the firm, Stanley Chin has almost 30 years of relevant professional quantity surveying experience in the industry. His unique strength includes tender and contract procurement strategies, cost analysis, quantity analysis, cost planning, cost control and value engineering management.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor at Stanley Chin QS Consult in Kuala Lumpur. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for tasks related to cost control, BOQ preparation, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior QS / Principal in handling projects.
• Prepare cost estimate and Bills of Quantities
• Prepare tender documents, tender report and contract documents
• Conduct monthly site valuation
• Evaluate and prepare Interim Valuation
• Prepare Final Account
• Advise on contractual matters and claim avoidance

Job Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Independent and requires minimum supervision
• Knowledge in computer-aided measurement software (e.g. Glodon) will be an advantage
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Multi vacancy

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience.
• Open for fresh graduate
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
