Perform wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, MRI, Fluoroscopy, BMD, Mammography and CT Scans in accordance with the established protocols, ethical standards and safety regulations.
Handle and maintain radiology equipment, accessories and facilities with proper care.
Promptly send completed patient's studies to Picture Archiving Communicating System (PACS).
Accurately document procedures in the registration book and record book documentation.
Ensure correct charges are entered into the Hospital Information System.
Upgrade skills, techniques and knowledge in the latest medical imaging technology through participation in continuing medical education programs.
Expand expertise and capabilities in subspecialty areas to perform both simple and complex medical imaging procedures proficiently.
Job Requirement:
Minimum Degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent.
Registered Radiographer with Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
Familiar with radiographic techniques & medical imaging equipment.
High level of patience, empathy and compassion towards patients and family members.
Good knowledge in Human Anatomy, Physiology, Radiation Physics, Radiation Safety Principles and Magnet Safety Principles.
