Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Radiologist role based at Pulai Springs Healthcare Centre in Skudai, Johor, Malaysia. The Radiologist will interpret medical imaging studies, including X-ray, CT Scan, ultrasound, and mammography, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Daily tasks include reviewing imaging requests, supervising image acquisition, ensuring appropriate imaging protocols, and providing timely, clear reports for referring clinicians. The role involves consulting with medical colleagues on complex cases, participating in multidisciplinary discussions, and advising on appropriate imaging modalities and follow-up investigations. The Radiologist will also contribute to quality assurance, radiation safety, and continuous improvement initiatives within the imaging department, and may participate in teaching or mentoring clinical staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Medicine with completed medical degree and recognized specialist training in Radiology.
  • Proficiency in core Radiology and Medical Imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound.
  • Competence in Mammography, including screening and diagnostic breast imaging, with attention to image quality and patient safety.
  • Experience or exposure to Nuclear Medicine techniques and principles is advantageous.
  • Current professional registration and license to practice (or eligibility for registration) in Malaysia.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with clinical staff and patients.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and adherence to safety and ethical standards.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage workload efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
