Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior React Native Developer with 7+ years of mobile application development experience to design, develop, and maintain high-performance retail and e-commerce mobile applications for Android and iOS.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with React Native, TypeScript/JavaScript, mobile architecture, API integrations, performance optimization, and retail/e-commerce journeys such as product catalogue, search, cart, checkout, payments, orders, delivery tracking, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable mobile applications using React Native for Android and iOS.
• Own mobile features end-to-end, from technical design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Build retail/e-commerce features including:
• Product catalogue and product details
• Search, filters and recommendations
• Shopping cart and wishlist
• Checkout and payment integration
• Coupons and offers
• Order placement and order history
• Order tracking and delivery status
• Customer profile and loyalty features
• Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, payment gateways, analytics, third-party SDKs and backend services.
• Implement push notifications, deep linking and real-time updates.
• Optimize application performance, startup time, memory usage and network efficiency.
• Develop reusable UI components and maintain scalable mobile architecture.
• Work with native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) modules when required.
• Debug production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage app releases through Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Implement and maintain mobile CI/CD pipelines.
• Write unit, integration and UI tests and ensure high code quality.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, Backend, QA, DevOps and business teams in an Agile environment.

Required Technical Skills

• 7+ years of software/mobile development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+ and React.
• Strong understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, navigation and component lifecycle.
• Experience with state management such as Redux/Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API or React Query.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience with Android and iOS development/build processes.
• Good understanding of Git, branching and code-review practices.
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, analytics and crash reporting.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, Metro and React Native debugging tools.
• Understanding of mobile security, secure storage and authentication.

Retail / E-commerce Experience

Candidates should preferably have experience in consumer-facing retail applications and understand:

• Experience with TurboModules / Fabric / New React Native Architecture.
• Native module development using Kotlin/Swift.
• GraphQL experience.
• Maps/GPS and real-time tracking.
• Experience with Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with automated mobile testing.
• Experience working on high-scale retail, e-commerce or quick-commerce applications.

Education
