React Native Mobile Developer (AI) – Digital Banking

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled React Native Mobile Developer with AI integration experience to join our Digital Banking team. You will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile banking applications while embedding AI-driven features to enhance customer experience, fraud detection, and personalization.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in mobile application development within regulated environments such as digital banking or fintech.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Development

• Design, develop, and maintain digital banking mobile applications using React Native
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security compliance
• Implement reusable components and scalable architecture
• Integrate secure RESTful APIs and microservices
• Handle mobile app deployment to App Store & Google Play
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews

AI & Smart Banking Features

• Integrate AI-powered chat assistants (LLM-based customer support)
• Implement intelligent fraud detection indicators within the app
• Develop smart onboarding (OCR + eKYC integration)
• Enable personalized recommendations (offers, spending insights)
• Integrate AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI, Google ML Kit)
• Collaborate with Data Science teams to deploy ML models into production

Technical Requirements

Must Have

• 48 years of mobile development experience
• Strong expertise in React Native (JavaScript / TypeScript)
• Experience with Redux / Context API / state management
• Experience integrating secure APIs (OAuth2, JWT)
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices (encryption, secure storage)
• Experience in fintech or digital banking environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

AI/ML Experience

• Experience integrating AI/ML services into mobile apps
• Knowledge of TensorFlow Lite / Core ML (preferred)
• Experience with chatbot or LLM API integration
• Understanding of AI-driven personalization or risk scoring

Banking & Compliance Knowledge

• Understanding of digital banking architecture
• Familiarity with:
• eKYC processes
• AML compliance basics
• Secure authentication (MFA, biometric login)
• Data privacy regulations (e.g., PDPA Malaysia)
• Experience working in regulated environments
