Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Recruitment Specialist (Mandarin Speaker) to join our growing recruitment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities, with a strong focus on sourcing Mandarin-speaking talent across multiple industries. This role requires a minimum of two (2) years of recruitment agency experience and strong multilingual communication skills in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
What will you do:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement of candidates
- Partner closely with clients to understand hiring requirements and deliver high-quality talent solutions
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, and internal databases
- Conduct initial candidate assessments and coordinate interviews with clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS/CRM system
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline, particularly for Mandarin-speaking roles
- Provide professional recruitment advisory to clients and candidates
- Meet monthly and quarterly recruitment KPIs and hiring targets
Who are we looking for:
- Minimum 2 years of recruitment agency experience (mandatory)
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment / talent acquisition
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (spoken and written)
- Ability to read and write in Chinese
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of recruitment tools, job portals, and sourcing techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting for BPO, fintech, tech, shared services, or contact centre roles
- Familiarity with Malaysian labour market and hiring practices
- Experience handling Mandarin-speaking regional hiring (China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore)
