Regional Cluster Operations Manager (Data Center)

I'm looking for an experienced Data Centre Operations Manager to take charge of a group of live data center sites in Johor.

You'll be responsible for keeping several facilities running around the clock and making sure customer commitments are met every day. That means leading the technical and shift teams on the ground, making sure handovers between shifts run smoothly, and keeping power, cooling and supporting infrastructure running reliably across all the sites.

When something goes wrong, you'll lead the response and recovery, and make sure the lessons learned lead to real improvements. You'll plan preventive and corrective maintenance with vendors and contractors, and schedule the work so it doesn't disrupt live operations. You'll also use operational data to spot risks early, before they turn into incidents.

Beyond day-to-day operations, you'll develop and coach the team and work closely with customers on their requests and issues. You'll also keep the sites safe, compliant and ready for audits. As the operation grows, you'll support senior leadership with planning and budgets.

To be considered, you'll need around 5+ years in data center operations, including several years managing a team in a 24/7 live environment. You'll need a good working knowledge of data centre power, cooling and network infrastructure, plus hands-on experience managing incidents, maintenance and vendors on live sites.

A degree in Engineering, IT or a related field and fluent English are also needed. Data centre certifications such as CDCP or CDCS would be a plus.

This role would suit an experienced Data Centre Operations Manager, Critical Facilities Manager or Site Operations Manager who has run live data centre sites and is ready to take on a wider, multi-site role. You'll need to be able to work on site in Johor.
