Regional Delivery Lead, Southeast Asia

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Regional Delivery Lead to drive customer success and delivery excellence across Southeast Asia. This role owns the full customer lifecycle, from technical discovery and solution design through implementation, acceptance, and ongoing operations.

As the front-line delivery representative in the region, you will lead a delivery team supporting large enterprise customers, primarily within the banking and financial services sector. You will work closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes while building scalable delivery capabilities for regional growth.

This position requires strong expertise in cloud-native technologies, enterprise project delivery, and customer engagement in complex private-cloud and air-gapped environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the regional delivery team, including resource planning, coaching, performance management, and team expansion.
• Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, covering solution planning, implementation, deployment, acceptance, and post-production support.
• Drive customer-facing technical engagements, including workshops, solution presentations, POCs, technical clarifications, and executive project reviews.
• Produce and govern solution architecture, implementation plans, Statements of Work (SOW), delivery milestones, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage project scope, schedule, quality, risks, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Pre-sales, Product, Engineering, Support, and Delivery organizations.
• Manage delivery partners in joint-delivery engagements and ensure clear ownership, accountability, and service quality.
• Build long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for renewals, upgrades, and service expansion.
• Establish regional delivery methodologies, best practices, templates, and operational standards.
• Lead the delivery of cloud-native platform initiatives, including Kubernetes, application modernization, DevOps, and AI infrastructure projects.

Requirements

Experience

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise software, cloud computing, cloud-native technologies, professional services, or solution delivery.
• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise projects with responsibility for delivery outcomes.
• Prior people management experience with distributed or regional delivery teams.
• Strong customer-facing experience working with enterprise accounts, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Experience in customer consulting, solution delivery, project management, or pre-sales, with exposure to multiple disciplines preferred.

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with private cloud and on-premises deployments.
• Hands-on knowledge of air-gapped environments, including software distribution, installation, upgrades, and change management.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions and implementation plans.

Communication & Languages

• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English are mandatory.
• Ability to independently lead executive and technical customer discussions in English.
• Strong presentation, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills in both Chinese and English.

• Comfortable working across different cultures, time zones, and matrix organizations.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the APAC region, including customer sites and project engagements in Southeast Asia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering solutions for large banking or regulated financial institutions.
• Familiarity with regional regulatory environments such as MAS, BNM, or OJK.
• Experience working with major system integrators and strategic delivery partners.
• Knowledge of OpenShift or other enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with DevOps, GitOps, Service Mesh, AI platforms, or application modernization initiatives.
• Professional certifications such as CKA, CKS, PMP, or equivalent.
• Additional Southeast Asian language skills (Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Thai, etc.) are a plus.

Location: Southeast Asia / Flexible within APAC

Travel Requirement: Frequent travel across the APAC region
