Develop and design material handling equipment tailored to meet client specifications and regional requirements by utilizing AutoCAD or other design tools to create detailed schematics, layouts and specifications.
Act as a technical expert, providing support to clients, sales teams, and installation teams on system functionality, integration, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and translate them into viable technical solutions.
Coordinate with equipment manufacturing and project team during execution projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with quality standards.
Implement and enforce quality control measures in the design and application processes to ensure the reliability and safety of material handling equipment.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to guarantee compliance with industry standards.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferable Mechanical or Civil Structural)
2-5 years of related working experience in designing mechanical systems. Field experience will be an added advantage.
Proven experience in managing the design process from concept to execution, including project management responsibilities.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools, to create detailed schematics and layouts.
Strong engineering analysis skills to assess the feasibility and performance of engineered cranes.
Knowledge of relevant software and technologies used in the design and application of
mechanical systems.
Proficiency in E-Plan Drafting Software: Ability to create, modify, and manage electrical drawings using E-Plan software, ensuring compliance with international electrical standards and project-specific requirements.
Electrical System Design Expertise: Competence in designing and preparing single-line diagrams for complex and large-scale machine systems, demonstrating a clear understanding of power distribution, load calculations, and component selection.
Control System Design and Documentation: Experience in developing detailed electrical control schematics, preparing associated technical drawings, and compiling accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) to support customer engineering and automation projects.
