About the Role

This position is based in Malaysia/Indonesia/Vietnam/Thailand with periods working from home and frequent travel.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) PV markets in Southeast Asian countries (including Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, etc.), focusing on policies and regulations, industry trends, market demands, and competitor dynamics. Provide accurate and comprehensive insights to support the company in formulating business development strategies.
  • Establish and lead a Southeast Asia-based commercial & industrial solar project development team and engineering technical team of solar Commercial and Industrial (C&I) PV system and solution, driving the team to achieve business development targets.
  • Formulate and implement Southeast Asia market development plans; proactively expand local customer resources, including but not limited to government agencies, corporate clients, and partners. Build stable cooperative relationships to accomplish project development, conversion, and profit goals.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure high-quality, efficient customer service and seamless project execution.
  • Actively carry out brand promotion activities in the Southeast Asian market to enhance the company's visibility and influence in the local Commercial and Industrial (C&I) PV sector.
  • Identify and assess potential risks in Southeast Asian business operations, such as policy risks and market risks, and develop corresponding mitigation measures to ensure the steady development of the company's business.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in both Chinese and English with excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, capable of conducting business negotiations and drafting documents in both languages.
  • Bachelor's degree or above from a nationally recognized university.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Southeast Asian market development and 3 years of team management experience, with a solid understanding of the market environment, business culture, and laws/regulations in Southeast Asian countries.
  • Candidates with successful track records in developing Commercial and Industrial (C&I) PV-related markets (e.g., Commercial and Industrial (C&I) PV project development, national grid resources development, energy equipment sales) are preferred.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the new energy industry, with familiarity with all links in the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) PV industry chain, as well as knowledge of Commercial and Industrial (C&I) PV product technical features and market conditions.
  • Exceptional market insight, business negotiation skills, team management capabilities, and communication/coordination skills; proactive work attitude, strong pressure resistance, and pioneering spirit.
  • Currently residing in Southeast Asia or able to adapt to long-term business trips across Southeast Asian countries.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
