We are looking for a highly driven Regional Equity Analyst to join our investment team, covering Asia exJapan markets.This role offers the opportunity to conduct deep fundamental research, contribute actionable investment ideas, and engage closely with portfolio managers and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct indepth fundamental equity research across Asia exJapan, generating actionable investment ideas to enhance portfolio performance.
- Present and communicate investment views, stock recommendations, and strategy updates to the investment team on a regular basis.
- Monitor market trends, macroeconomic developments, and companyspecific news through research reports, analyst briefings, company visits, and industry conferences.
- Track and evaluate portfolio stock performance using relevant financial and operational metrics, ensuring alignment with underlying fundamentals.
- Support client engagement initiatives, including participation in presentations, marketing trips, and meetings with investors, distribution partners, and prospective clients.
- Assist with research documentation, reporting, and portfolio monitoring from an administrative and operational perspective.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant equity research experience, preferably with regional market exposure.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear investment insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting investment views to internal stakeholders and clients.
- High level of intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fastpaced investment environment.
