Regional Field Service Engineer

Our client is a world renowned market leading semiconductor equipment maker. They are currently seeking a Global Service Engineer to join their team. This role will require high frequency (up to 90%) of travelling globally (mainly Taiwan, Singapore, Korea, Japan and USA). They are open to candidates with direct semiconductor equipment servicing experience and also candidates who has servicing experience for complex equipment.

Responsibility:

• Installation & Maintenance: Install, commission, maintain, and upgrade semiconductor manufacturing machinery.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues and perform repairs on-site.
• Customer Support: Act as the primary technical contact point for clients, providing on-site support to resolve equipment issues.
• Documentation: Generate service reports, maintain maintenance logs, and update technical documentation.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations while working in cleanroom environments

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics or related Engineering
• 2 years of field service experience
• Semiconductor equipment experience preferred but open to other industries that involve complex equipment/machineries
• Willing to commit to high frequency travelling (90%)
• Willing to work shift work
