Regional Finance Leadership (Fintech) / Financial Controller

We are partnering with a fast-growing, technology-driven financial services company to identify a hands-on senior Finance professional to help build and scale its accounting function and financial infrastructure across multiple entities through its next stage of growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the numbers, building processes from the ground up, and improving how Finance operates through technology and automation.

The Role

• Own the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close across multiple entities, including consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Oversee core finance operations including AP, AR, invoicing, collections and payments.
• Lead external audits and support statutory and regulatory financial reporting.
• Develop and strengthen financial controls, accounting policies and finance processes.
• Apply IFRS to complex and evolving transactions.
• Drive process improvement and automation across accounting, reconciliation and reporting workflows.
• Work closely with regional and international stakeholders, with occasional travel.

What We're Looking For

• 6-12 years experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting or Finance Operations.
• Strong experience in month-end close, financial statements, consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and ability to handle complex accounting matters.
• Big 4 audit / accounting advisory experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within fintech, financial services, technology, startups or regulated environments is a plus.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented and comfortable building rather than simply maintaining processes.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets and ERP skills; interest in AI, automation and finance technology is an advantage.
