Job Description

As a Regional Manager, you will lead and oversee multiple cinema locations, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial performance, and an outstanding customer experience. Your leadership will shape the success of our cinema teams and contribute to TGV's position as Malaysia's leading entertainment destination. This is a dynamic opportunity for a driven individual ready to make a lasting impact in the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Financial Performance: Drive regional sales and profitability by monitoring key performance indicators (admissions, ancillary revenue, NPS), analyzing market trends, and executing targeted strategies to exceed financial and customer satisfaction targets.
  2. Customer Experience & Service Excellence: Champion a culture of exceptional service by systematically analyzing customer feedback and NPS data to identify trends, implement improvements, and ensure a consistently high-quality guest experience across all locations.
  3. Operational Excellence & Brand Standards: Uphold impeccable brand standards through rigorous quality assurance checks on cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation. Ensure flawless execution of all HQ-led initiatives, promotions, and product launches.
  4. Ancillary Revenue & Growth Initiatives: Spearhead initiatives to maximize ancillary revenue streams, including booth sales, new concessions, B2B partnerships, and event bookings, by developing and implementing creative, profit-focused strategies.
  5. Leadership & Talent Development: Mentor and coach location managers to cultivate a strong, data-driven, and business-oriented leadership team, enhancing their capabilities in operations, finance, and team management.
  6. High-Performance Culture: Foster a culture of accountability and excellence by conducting performance reviews, implementing actionable improvement plans for underperforming units, and recognizing top performers to maintain high levels of motivation and engagement.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Minimum of a Diploma in any discipline or equivalent.
  2. Experience: At least 5 years in cinema or retail operations, with proven leadership and business management skills.
  3. Business Acumen: Strong problem-solving abilities with a systematic and urgent approach.
  4. Skills: Proficient in communication, planning, organization, presentation, and Microsoft Office tools.
  5. Competencies: Capable of managing multiple units, resourceful, customer-focused, and entrepreneurial.
  6. Personal Attributes: A proactive leader and mentor, analytical, organized, and results-driven.
